[/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Dear Church family, Greetings to all in the precious name of our Lord and soon coming to King, Jesus Christ. This week we looked into the Word of God, continuing the series, “Is God in it?” If God is in what we are doing, then we will be thankful. When the Israelites had crossed the Red Sea, and they looked back at the Egyptians destroyed in the same Red Sea, they were filled with joy and started singing to the Lord. Moses and the people of Israel sang that the Lord is highly exalted. They proclaimed that He is their strength and salvation. They also sang praises to Him saying that He is their God and they will praise Him. The whole song was all about how God is a warrior and He had defeated their enemies. God is majestic and He has shown His power to the nations. There is no one who could be compared to this living God. All this praise and singing happened when they had crossed the red sea. When we read Ex 14:11-12. we can clearly see that these same Israelites, were so angry at Moses and were asking him, why he had brought them out of Egypt to die in the wilderness. They even told him that they were better off in Egypt serving the Egyptians. They soon forgot that they were groaning under the bondage of the Egyptians, and cried out, and God heard their cry, as we read in Ex 2:23. What they were saying is that Moses and God had brought them to the wilderness to die and to suffer death from their enemies. They soon forgot that God was with them in their journey through the wilderness, and if He is in it, they would always have victory and be thankful. Many times, we do the same. We cry out to God, in the midst of our pain and suffering. God hears our prayers and He gives us victory, we are very thankful and sing and dance and declare to the whole world, but when we suddenly come across the red sea in our lives, we get upset and mad at God and start complaining. We start doubting if God is in it or not. We all (those who have received Him in our hearts as our Lord and personal savior) know that Jesus Christ has redeemed us and set us free from the bondage of sin and death. He took our judgment upon himself and has set us free. Many times, we face challenges in our Christian life, and we face very difficult times. It may seem that it is impossible to move on with our lives. We need to know this for sure, that if we are seeking His guidance in our lives daily, and if the Lord is in it, then those impossibilities will turn in to possibilities. He who has called us is faithful; He will see us through. This is the reason that we should praise Him even in the midst of our trials and impossible situations. Our lives must not be as the Israelites, who sang great songs when they saw the parting of the red sea and they crossed it, but soon they forgot God’s hand was leading them and started murmuring and complaining. As David sang in Ps 34:1. “I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be on my lips.” As the psalmist says in Ps 145:2, ” Every day I will praise you and extol your name forever and ever.” May this be our song daily, come what may. May we always be submissive to the Lord, seek His will and ask ourselves, “Is God in it?” That whatever we may come across in life, we will always sing His praise and glory and be thankful. Amen! God bless![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][text-with-icon icon_type=”font_icon” icon=”icon-user” color=”Accent-Color”]Thompson Samuel Associate pastor:  Atlanta Christian Assembly 678-471-9636[/text-with-icon][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″]
